Question/Problem
Configuring: Setting the control panel security preferences

Answer/Solution

To change the secure settings:

  1. Log into the control panel Secure Settings page. Two settings are displayed - IP Blocking and SSL Administration Session.
  2. IP Blocking - when the text box is empty, all IP addresses can access your control panel, provided they have a valid username and password. Enter an IP address in the text box that you want blocked. You can list as many addresses as you wish. You can also list IP address ranges. Put each address or range of addresses on a separate line.
  3. SSL Administraion Session - this setting is not currently available.
