Answer/Solution Domain names can be locked for a number of reasons. The top three reasons a domain is locked or unavailable for transfer include: - Your domain is within 10 days of the expiration date - Your domain name was registered or transfered within the last 60 days. - Your domain name may be locked per request. You can request your domain name be unlocked if this is the case. There are certain legal circumstances, that may result in your domain name being locked.
