Email Administrator/Mailbox Owner access
Both the email administrator and a mailbox owner can manage the email mailbox options without logging into the hosting account. The mailbox owner has access only to his own mailbox, where as the email administrator has access to all mailboxes in the account. This article shows the mail access techniques for both.

Designate an Email Administrator

Account owners can designate an Email Administrators who can modify the settings on all mailboxes and create new mailboxes without going through the control panel, or having access to the account. An Administrator must have a mailbox on the account.

To designate an Email Administrator:

  1. Log into MailCentral.
  2. Find the mailbox whose owner you want to designate as an administrator.
Click Edit to go to the Address Management page on this mailbox.

  3. Expand the Owner Information section by clicking on the "+"

  4. Select Yes for the Administrator? field.

Note: You can remove Administrator access at any time by clearing the checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

Now the owner of this mailbox can have access to the settings of all mailboxes in your hosting account.

Access a mailbox (for owner) or all mailboxes (for email administrator)

  1. Go to www.fatcow.com/mailadmin/mailcentral.bml.

  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Manage Mail to go to the mail management area or Check Mail to check email for that mailbox.
  4. If you are an administrator, and you selected Manage Mail, you see all the mailboxes in the hosting account, similar to the MailCentral page.

  5. If you are a mailbox owner, and you selected Manage Mail, you see the Address Management page of your own mailbox.

Check email over the web

There are a few ways to check your mail over the Web:

  1. Go to WebMail.PrimaryDomain, where PrimaryDomain (see To set or change your primary domain) is your hosting account primary domain, set in DomainCentral
    • Example:
      WebMail.FlowersByLisa.info
where FlowersByLisa.info is your primary domain
  2. Log in with your mailbox address and mailbox password
or
  1. Log into MailCentral.
  2. Find the mailbox you wish to access, and click Edit to go to the Address Management page of this mailbox.

  3. Expand the Mailbox Delivery section by clicking on the "+" icon and click the Webmail icon. The client of choice (such as Atmail) for this mailbox will open.
or
  1. See To access a mailbox (for owner) or all mailboxes (for email administrator) above and click Check Mail after login.
All of these options require you to login. You need to use the specific email address that you're checking (or the mailbox name) along with its password to access the Webmail client.
