Change nameservers for a domain

To update the nameservers for a domain:
  1. Log into DomainCentral.
  2. Find the domain you wish to modify in the list of domains, and click the "+" icon to the left of the domain name.
  3. Select the Nameservers tab in the domain settings dialog that appears.

  4. Two radio buttons are listed below "Update Name Servers":
    • Use default name servers
    • Use different name servers
  5. "Use default name servers" lists the name servers that have automatically been applied to your domain. You do not need to take any action if you wish to keep the default entries. The default name servers appear as:
    • Nameserver 1: ns1.fatcow.com
    • Nameserver 2: ns2.fatcow.com
  6. To use name servers different from the default settings, click the radio button next to "Use different name servers," and the two text fields will become active.
  7. Click Save when you are finished making changes to your name servers.

NOTE: When making changes to your name servers, please allow up to 24 hours for these changes to take effect.
